Half the price of buying locally. It seems the software will try to auto install (I wonder if the mouse has the software on a usb memory internally). I went to the official Razer site to download the software. I was able to adjust brightness, or make the green lighting pulsate (breathing). I don’t game so adjusting the DPI or whatever didn’t make any difference to me. I downloaded latest firmware tried to update, however it doesn’t detect the mouse 🤷🏻♂️. I used the Razer Synapse software to customize the buttons to keyboard shortcuts. I find this mouse very slippery as there is no grippy rubber surface on the sides (which I’m use to on my old school Microsoft mouse). Overall it’s very good value for less than half the price compared to purchasing locally. It even includes Razer stickers. Looks legit to me but I don’t have a locally purchased DeathAdder to compare.
