1. You do have to get them in water quickly after use or they stiffen up. Be sure to never leave them in water and dry them well.
2. Cleaning: Water based paint-warm soapy water, oil/solvent based paints-petroleum essence.
3. Drying / Storage: Flatwise or head upward.
4.At the beginning of using a new pen, it’s very normal to lose a few hairs slightly. It’s not a quality problem. Please don’t worry.

They are cheap brushes. I do not use them to paint. I use them to apply silicon to rubber o rings, and for that, they work. It was so much cheaper to buy this bundle and throw a bunch of sizes I may never use in a drawer than to buy just 1 brush locally.
